Day 01
Your epic winter adventure begins with your arrival at Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport. From here, you'll embark on a substantial and picturesque drive that gradually leads you deep into the heart of the mountains. This extensive journey winds through captivating valleys and ascends towards the snow-capped heights, bringing you directly to Auli. Upon arrival, settle into your high-altitude abode, embracing the crisp mountain air and the promise of a week filled with snow-filled excitement.
Day 02
Awaken to the spectacular sight of the sun-kissed peaks surrounding Auli. Today marks your initiation into the world of skiing. Collect your equipment, meet your certified instructor, and begin your lessons on the gentle nursery slopes. Feel the exhilarating sensation of your first glides over the fresh snow, quickly gaining confidence amidst the stunning backdrop of peaks like Nanda Devi. The afternoon is dedicated to practice and enjoying the sheer joy of your initial skiing experience.
Day 03
With newfound confidence, dedicate a full day to mastering the art of skiing on Auli's varied terrain. Whether you are refining your turns on intermediate slopes or venturing to more challenging runs, the vast expanse of snow offers endless opportunities for exhilaration. The breathtaking views of the panoramic Himalayas, including Trishul, Mana Parbat, and Dunagiri, will accompany every descent, making each moment on the slopes truly unforgettable.
Day 04
Today, trade your skis for trekking boots as you embark on a captivating winter trek to Gorson , a magnificent alpine meadow located above Auli. The trail winds through snow-laden forests, offering serene beauty and tranquility. As you emerge into the open expanse of the , prepare to be awestruck by the 360-degree panoramic views of the Himalayan giants, including the majestic Nanda Devi. This moderate trek is a perfect way to finish your winter wilderness experience and capture some truly spectacular photographs before returning to Auli.
Day 05
This day is designed for you to choose your own adventure, offering the opportunity to either return to the ski slopes to practice your turns and explore different runs using the resort's chair lifts and ropeways, or to take a more leisurely approach by riding the Auli Ropeway for incredible aerial views of the landscape, visiting the nearby Auli Artificial Lake, or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere from the comfort of your hotel.
Day 06
As your last full day in Auli, this is a free day for you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the region at your own pace; you could take the opportunity to try an optional activity like visiting the local market in Joshimath via the ropeway, attempt snowboarding for an added thrill, or simply spend the day capturing stunning photographs and soaking in the tranquil views of the snow-capped mountains.
Day 07
After a final breakfast in the mountains, you will check out of your hotel and begin the long but scenic drive back down from Auli to Dehradun or Rishikesh, reflecting on the unforgettable memories of your week spent skiing and trekking in the Himalayas as you journey towards the airport or railway station for your onward departure.
