Booking & Payments

Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once we have received the required deposit or full payment and have sent you an official confirmation email.
Pricing: The prices on our website are subject to change until your booking is confirmed. Your confirmed price includes only the services and items explicitly listed in your trip itinerary, beginning and ending from the mentioned starting point of the program. All other costs involving getting to the starting point and other personal expenses, are your responsibility.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit card, UPI, Razor pay.

Please note that all our fixed departures are subject to a minimum of 6 participants. Also note that comprehensive adventure insurance is mandatory for all participants on our trips and will be added to your trip cost. We recommend a travel policy as well that you can obtain to cover any travel cancellation, and lost or damaged luggage.

Your Responsibility as a Participant

Acknowledgement of Risk: Trekking involves inherent risks, including injury, illness, altitude sickness, and even death. By participating in this trip, you agree and voluntarily assume all risks associated with this trip and agree that Snowfox Escapes and its staff or associates cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage you may incur.
Physical & Medical Fitness: You must be in good physical and mental health to undertake this trip. By booking, you confirm that you are medically fit for the trek and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions or physical limitations to us beforehand.
Following Instructions: For your safety and the safety of the group, you are required to follow all instructions given by your trek leader and guide. Failure to do so may result in your removal from the trip without a refund.
Personal Belongings: You are solely responsible for your personal belongings and equipment. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or theft.

Itinerary Changes

Flexibility: Our itineraries are carefully planned but are also a general guide. Due to factors beyond our control—such as weather, trail conditions, or local circumstances—the itinerary may need to be altered.
Authority to Modify: Snowfox Escapes reserves the right to change, shorten, or cancel any part of the trip if they deem it necessary for the safety and well-being of the group. No refunds will be issued for any unused services in such cases.
Additional Expenses: Any extra costs (eg. additional accommodation, transportation etc) incurred as a result of itinerary changes due to any unexpected natural calamity or other unforeseen reasons will be paid for by the participant.
Please note that any emergency evacuation, should it be required, will be done at an additional cost borne by the evacuee.

Code of Conduct & Environment

Respect: We expect all participants to be respectful of our staff, fellow participants, and the local communities and environment we visit.
Leave No Trace: Our company is committed to responsible tourism. You must follow our “Leave No Trace” policy, which means you must not litter, disturb wildlife, or damage the natural environment.
Prohibited Items: The use or possession of illegal drugs or firearms is strictly prohibited on all our trips. Consumption of alcohol is discouraged while on the trek or outdoor adventure.

Media Release: By participating in our treks, you consent to us using any photographs or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes, such as on our website or social media. If you do not wish to be included, please let us know in writing beforehand.
